Hello, Hello from the CEO!

Come and See What All The FUN Is About This National Playgroup Week!

Our theme, Play For Our Future, reflects our unique model of co-participation whereby playgroup not only offer benefits to children, but more importantly to parents and to the community. So too, playgroups provide benefits to the formal early childhood education and care sector, early childhood health and longitudinal benefits across all government portfolios.

Play For Our Future highlights our shared approach to ensuring that all children and families harness the power of play – now and long into the future – through sustainable investment and a clear acknowledgement of the critical role playgroups play. So too, we seek to modernise and innovate our approach to ensure that children in alternate care and no-traditional family settings experience the benefits of play, as do underrepresented groups such as dads, culturally diverse families, parents with intellectual disability, Aboriginal communities, rural and remote families and more.

From free webinars, amazing new early home learning fact sheets, the launch of a great research report with LEGO, facts of the day, an event at NSW Parliament House and some gorgeous stories from families, join us in National Playgroup Week and together, let’s play for our future.
